From Personal Truth to Supporting Our Community
1) Some things are done for all the "right" wrong reasons
Realizing we can be right and wrong at the same time has allowed so much grace with myself and inner-peace when dealing with regret
2) It is okay to not be on the same page
We all love beautiful things, beautiful people, beautiful places and recognize the value intrinsic to them. Yet feeling anger when others don't share our exact sentiments is fair to no one.
When life gets ya down, it's easy to take things out on everyone else. Still, our higher selves know that it is unconditional love that keeps us alive - not putting others down to try to get to the top.
3) Staying Focused - Reminders to Self
Even in the face of comparison, remembering that we really are all one keeps us healthy and positive
People WILL come and go. There is no stopping this truth. Welcome their coming and champion their leaving. I know those who are meant to align with you forever simply will. And I trust that anyone who leaves must have a good reason.
4) Nothing beats the little things
Part of life's treasure is seeing the beauty in all things, especially the little ones.
One of life's little things is the way we talk about little things
I want to live in a moneyless world. I wish to give and give and never feel like I need to take. Without money, our value would be placed in SO many other things: love, family, health, art...
5) Your life is yours
No one knows you like you know you. No one can take away your sense of self unless you let them. Our lower selves are reactive but our higher selves are proactive. This year, more than any year, you've been taught to look for solutions, not counters
You are not a bad person because other people disagree with yours actions. You are misunderstood and you do not have to explain yourself to people who are not willing to listen in the first place. Take back your life by deciding away from people who act in fake and unkind ways because of their own self-hatred and unwillingness to understand.
What people perceive and what actually happened are often worlds apart. Someone may have their side of the story, yet that doesn't make it the full story. Storytell on your own accord, be authentic to yourself! Never let something convince you that it cannot be both "this" and "that"
A Friendly Reminder:
We are all meeting each other where we are. We are not who we've been, who we will be, but, who we are. Be yourself to the capacity that you can in this moment, place, and time.
HAPPY 2023!
